ANTI-RACISM EDUCATION

Race is an invention; a tool used to center and empower whiteness in colonized societies. We ground our work in this understanding and define racism in terms of the structures that maintain systems of oppression against people of color in favor of white people.

 

Our anti-racism education programs start with an assessment of your organization's policies, programs and relationships.

 

Our goal is to help organizations determine their starting point and then develop a learning program that will lead them to the cultivation and maintenance of inclusive and just work environments. The work of anti-racism is never done, but it can provide your team with the tools to name your challenges, reduce harm to team members and stakeholders, and start the long process of contouring your programming and internal systems within an anti-racism framework.
